Supporting Young Women in Sport | Boxing Talent Angelique Themelakis

Maple Living is proud to be more than just a homebuilder. At the core of our mission is a commitment to giving back to our community and supporting grassroots sports clubs and young aspiring athletes.

We are thrilled to support Angelique Themelakis, a talented young athlete whose journey in the boxing world reflects our values of family, strength, and perseverance.

Angelique’s passion for boxing began at home, inspired by her father, Evan Themelakis, an undefeated Australian boxing champion with an impressive 84-fight record. Her father’s story sparked her own ambition to step into the ring and compete.

Angelique is now representing Victoria in the 60kg category at Nationals and was recently crowned the Queen of the Ring 2024. Also participating at the Legacy Women’s Championships in Singapore, she has proven herself to be an inspiring figure for other young women in sport.

With a busy training schedule that includes twice-daily sessions six days a week, Angelique divides her time between her Boxing Academy, private training, and strength and conditioning sessions. Her current focus is the upcoming National Championships in Canberra, where she aims to secure victory later this month. Her long-term goals include representing Australia at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, and ultimately becoming a professional world champion.

Our support has played a crucial role in helping Angelique pursue her dreams. She expresses deep gratitude for the backing that has allowed her to work with top-tier trainers and cover travel expenses, including her recent international competition. “Maple Living’s commitment to my development has been invaluable, and I look forward to what lies ahead in my boxing career,” she shares.

For Angelique, our support as a family-oriented business resonates with her own values, strengthening her determination and allowing her to focus on her development in the sport she loves.

As we continue to follow her journey, Maple Living is excited to witness Angelique’s progress in the ring and beyond. Supporting her is not only a privilege but also a testament to our dedication to helping young women in sport and uplifting the local community. We look forward to watching her career flourish and are inspired by her commitment to achieving greatness.
